Dead/dying red oak as farmer steve said. I would take it in a heartbeat.

 

I agree with the others that’s Red Oak for sure. Find a lot of those dead standing around here not sure what caused the spotting, maybe a fungus??

 

Oak Wilt maybe? Good firewood for sure.

 

Split one open, after you get it, then post pics.

The bark looks like red oak, but geez it looks like they've been mangled in some heavy duty equipment.
The heartwood doesn't look very red. Pin oak ? Camera ? My eyes ?

 

My work does a forestry thing and they level any trees that are leaning over onto another tree or any that are dead, give it like an open look, so every year there's a bunch there. So alot of times i run into some dead wood but, its free, its cut into rounds, cant beat it lol im at the hospital now (wife being induced) so ill split a piece and post a pic when i get a minute free haha
