having a hell of a time with all this rain and melting snow? It wiped out my gravel driveway yesterday... something I’m prepared to avoid in the spring but this took me by surprise.

That sucks, I know how you feel as I just got done dealing with about a dozen ice-laden LARGE pine limbs down all over my property stuck in 4" of frozen snow. Winter sucks and it hasn't even started yet..................:headbang::headbang::headbang:

Check out my Saturday morning misery. It took 9 full gorilla carts of nit-pack to fix.

Got a good size oak limb down.
I asked a buddy why he didn't come out hunting this year and he basically said it was far too wet to be trudging around in my swamp.
damm deer have been coming almost every night, sometimes right up to the front door. There's almost no yews or arborvitaes left and it's only the beginning of December. I've gone out the door and they just stand there looking at me. If I was good at throwing axes and hatchets I'd have a big one.

Bill, I got a laugh out of that. They wiped out my garden this fall, fast! My kids like to see them come up to the house but I can’t help to think of all the passengers they are leaving for us.

My driveways a disaster too. Coming up it last night in my commuter car I was afraid I was going to get stuck I was sinking into it so much...that almost never happens, especially this time of year.

The lakes were finally starting to freeze up too...this warm up/rain is going to set back ice fishing a good bit. Looks like cold again starting mid-week but nothing extreme, just 20's or so from what Ive seen.

I saw the same thing here. All the small ponds here are frozen solid so this water just ran right on top... it had nowhere to go but spread.

Whereabouts in NH are you? I'm in the Lakes Region, on the north side of Lake Winni.

Ahhh... the "fun" of living on a side hill Jack of All Trades NH ... sorry the rain caught ya. Looks like every spring at our old farm in western Maine. Water would run off a neighbor's field, and come out right at the top of our drive. It was removed one year... the driveway that is. After that, it became the spring ritual. Divert the water, stand in the rain, shovel gravel, swear at my boot holes... ya know... fun... :picard: We lost the entire road that way too, one year. Washed away in 4 hours. The town spent many :makeitrain"on gravel loads, to make the repairs. Took a solid week of haulin'.

I wish you luck on your water runoff issues. Ahhhh... gravity... :headbang:

I’m a bit south of you, closer to the Concord.

I used up the last of my reserve rock today, once all the roads get weight restricted I’ll be stuck bagging it in.
