Who carries an 088 wearing a 21" bar? (Oh wait, that's Stihl's official recommended bar size...... )
16" Rollomatic E, .325" flavor The most likely setup you are going to come across out in the field. I have the Picco B&C which would make it a tad lighter but that's cheating since hardly anybody knows about, let alone runs Picco chain on a 3003 mount bar.
I do when ripping with a mini mill. The 088 was 31 lbs even on my scale here with the 36" tsumura light weight bar. The other pictures is a 550 with 16" laser bar and a 385 with full wrap and 24" GB bar. All were fully fueled. My shipping scale has died so I used the fancy bathroom scale and they were always within .1 lbs any way.
Okay, I cleaned and refueled, topped off the oil and re-weighed each saw. Boy did that change things. 562XP with 20" Techlite bar 17.6#, this is plus 1# MS261C-M with 16" Stihl Rollomatic E bar 15.4#, this is plus 6 tenths # MS250 with 16" Stihl Rollomatic E bar 14.2#, this is plus 1.4#
Got the new bar for the 555 yesterday. I will try and post up some weights tonight. Had to work all weekend (locker room now) and my schedule is tight
I put the 046 with 3/4 wrap and 24" GB bar on the scale last night. I couldn't get a clear picture of it but it was 21.8 lbs.
That is a great point Dex, as the saw gets larger, the amount of fuel and oil they hold goes up a lot.
My MS440 is right at 20#'s with a 20" ES ready to cut. I also know it gains a lot of weight during the day.
288XPW with 28" bar (that stays on there 99% of the time),skip chain & full tanks is 25 lbs 2100CD with 24" bar/skip chain & full tanks is 25 lbs. dry powerhead only weights for them are 16.3 & 20.5 lbs, respectively.
Made a few cuts with the 555 today. Then I refilled the oil and fuel. With 16" (3/8") bar and chain it's 16 lbs and 13 oz. I loved the 562, but this thing is very impressive. Super impressive actually. .
Only scale at my place is a powder scale, don't want to know how much I weigh! But I do believe my jonsered weighs more than 1 case of beer but less than 2.
That's a 16" b & c, I will weigh it with the 20" set up tonight. Also, I only ran it to drop one tree and limb it (10 minutes). Has no "dust/gunk" build up in all the cracks and crevices.
