Went downstairs this morning to empty ashpan. Was an auger jam error code on wall control. Had just filled hopper last nite too. Unplugged stove, emptied hopper. Even took some out by hand so as not to drag any up. Didn't want to waste any sucking it out. Unhooked optical sensor and auger motor harness's and took screw out and pulled auger assy. out. There was a few kernels of corn and a lot of dust at top. Took assy. upstairs so I could see better. Set it on table and took optical sensor off and cleaned it. Put it back on and put assy. back in stove. Plugged harness's back in. Threw a handful of corn in hopper to keep vac from throwing a code, and plugged stove back in. Started process and fed corn when it was suppose to. Doesn't always work this way. Cheap fix. kap
I have an old Aladdin CB1200 FS and do not have a data controller on the wall and do not get Auger Jam codes and never get auger jams
