F08EEAC5-4A43-48E9-B398-895B9AD1CF1D.jpeg Wife and I drove down to the big city tonight for some supplies. Walmart is selling these tiny pine bundles for 8 dollars!!!!

I count six, tiny splits in that bundle on top. And it’s not like pine firewood is hard to come by in Colorado. It’s literally Just lying around everywhere here.

    8 bucks!
    8 buuucks....
    Eight buuuuuuuuuucks.....

They are out of Rusk Tx.... Talked to him a few years ago ...I think it was $2.50 a bundle by the semi load.....usually goes for 5.99 to 6.99 at stores around here.....The wood is not heat treated so I don't know how they are transporting to other states...but maybe just to states that do not have invasive species/ tree disease restrictions yet. $8 comes out to $1575 a cord......that even beats me!!!

Good thread - Who can find the most expensive firewood? Shouldn't include anything meant to be decorative. IE:$20 white birch logs.

One of those pine bundles would provide my house with heat for approximately 40 minutes. Lol.

They wouldn’t keep selling it if someone weren’t buying it...
