Not much difference, 23°. You've got a long day ahead, but at least tomorrow is playtime!

Good morning, everyone! Chilly day here, but lots of sunshine will melt that thin snow we got the other night. I need to bring some wood in, and I'll split some sugar maple.
I had a dream about Chipdrop last night. I dreamt I ran out front and a couple of trucks were dumping pine brush in the yard. Then, I saw they left a big load of pine logs in the back yard! Bad dream.
I signed up for Chipdrop last month, I specified logs only, no pine or willow. I haven't heard a peep. Slow season I guess.
    Have a good day everyone!

What time do you come through Bradford? The 219/86 junction is a little over a 1/2 hr from our home house.

Good afternoon everybody. Was about 15 when I got up a little before 6. Now it is about 20. Looks like they are starting to work on the pipeline. Chaz heard them yesterday and took a walk up. Said it looked they were trimming some branches. Heard them again today and once again walked up. He did get a video. It looks like they are working from the top down. Figure they came from the back side of the hill. They have a chipper all the way at the top. Some vehicle with about a 60 ft boom working on cutting the tops.

It varies. I haul molasses to a feed mill up there. I think they get about once a week. What time I come through depends upon what time I get rolling in the morning, what traffic is like on I-80, etc.

Well that's pretty exciting! I wonder how long it will take them to do the logging.

Marvin I 80 would be way west, wrong way. If you pick up I86 east, don't worry about traffic, there is none. We are rural down here. Between the 86/219 junction to our town you will clip the edge of Olean which is 15,000 people. Our town is 2,000. Lol. We are 15 minutes from Olean.

Not sure. We didn't even know they were starting. Chaz called our contact with the gas co. and he verified it was them doing the cutting. Our property connects to a neighbors who is having his property timbered. We just wanted to know who was doing it. Who ever is in that vehicle must have a set of big ba!!. We took a ride up through the woods to the top once using logging trail and came down the pipeline once. Will never do it again. Way to steep. The ground is not frozen yet either.

I-80 is the quickest way for me. I haul out of Lewistown, PA. I take I-80 to route 153 and that cuts about an hour off of going that way. I love watching my GPS arrival time do a nosedive :D

    Good morning.

I think I'll be making some noise outside for a bit this morning. I have some DSRO logs, laying on my sawbuck just waiting to be css'd. I'd like to get it under cover, ahead of tonight/tomorrow's downpour.
