The stove, not me. Wanted some thoughts on this behavior that started this season. Scenarios: Stove is running fine for a few hours and I hear an odd sound. Come into the living to find that the augur and room blower are cycling. on/off/on. Start the stove up and it's just catching fire, same situation as above. At first I thought it could be a snap disc, but with the second scenario occurring so early in the startup I'm leaning more towards the board. In both cases I shut the stove off and pulled the power for 30 seconds. Turn it back on and it's fine. After the first incident I blew compressed air on all the snap discs in case there was any dust that was having an insulating effect. Unit has been on a surge suppressor its entire life. Thanks, Earl
Doing more research and thinking perhaps the fan switch is going. Looks to be Part# 100-00231. I remember hearing something clicking like it was turning on and off as the fan would go on and off. At $12 I think it's worth a shot.
