More small chores today. Ground too soft to do any dirt work.:(

But the temps will drop quick  and maybe I can get some more of that dirt work done on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Three day weekend coming up soon!

Clearing a little part of the space the wife wants to put fruit trees. Hauling the brush to the pile takes most of the time.

:picard: Pump is down again. No dishes or laundry or showers or toilets. (I'll ask WWW to bring a couple buckets from the lake tonight for flushing toilets).

Somehow a hose on it came off last night while we slept, put hose back on but the housing is leaking :headbang: I thought if the pump overheats the impeller melted, idk, maybe it got so hot the housing warped it or melted the gasket?

As usual I have a load of dishes to do, 2 loads of laundry, and really need a shower. Tomorrow is kiddo's Christmas play, shower and fixed hair is a must. I might I could go to the rec center in town tomorrow if needed what a pita for a shower. WWW is out of town Wed-Fri  I've about had it, called the plumber to put in a whole new pump, they are booked. Called another, no call back yet. I might hit up a neighbor for a shower......

I tried to put in a new one years ago, brought it home but needed many many adapters to fit the current fittings so returned it and WWW drove down to Colorado to pick up another one of the brand we had (so fittings match).

If a submersible pump then see if you can get neighbours to gather together to pull the pump up out of the well; that is the hard part, pulling the pump out of the well.

Not submersible we do not have a well. My husband hauls our water in a tank on the back of his pickup. Cistern currently has atleast 800 gallons in there.

There was a tree worker killed in my hometown today. They were cutting a tree when things went sideways and the tree broke. The guy on the ground holding the rope was thrown pretty far into the woods where he suffered a massive head injury.

Worker Dies After Incident Involving Tree in Wakefield, Mass.
