OH, NO!!! My house is 1952 depression era builder using unconventional materials, I was saying Wheelhorse could post demo pictures instead of completed pictures. Heck, my bathroom is still not done 2 years later, toilet is running = good enough.
Too wet out to do much outside today. But I did get some chores done. Helped the wife out by getting some jobs done around the barn and house while she was at work. Helped myself out by a bit at break time, which must of been needed.
It's actually interesting in this place, some of the wood was recycled from other buildings. As near as I can read, this upstairs planking came from some aluminum extrusion company in Charlotte MI.
That definitely adds character to the house. Do you know the history of the place? It might be an interesting story.
Not really. I know that the family was in the process of building a house, but it burnt down halfway through construction. We were told that this place was built after that. Always seemed like it was intended to be a garage, that got turned into a house. Not sure about the whole story, would be great to know though.
My dad built the shelf with no clearance, so I had to do some shimmying to get it in there. Here it is just now after I turned the water back on. Plus, the old one. My brain is done after this. I'm going to do the rest later.
It sure did! I still haven't decided what to make out of it. maybe make it into a feeder of some kind.
