Good afternoon everybody. About 30 and overcast. Did get down to 22 last night. Looks like far valleys are getting a light snow. Molly, not cleaning up that limb? Hopefully didn't do any damage to the pool cover. Hope all of you has a good day.

Not cleaning up that limb until the snow melts off of it. That may happen next week.
I've reached the end of me, as far as shoveling is concerned. There is still most of a tall berm at the end of the driveway; I think I made an opening wide enough for my husband to squeak the car through. We got more snow than yesterday, and it's still coming down.
My son's family finally made it home, about 1P.

That is always a relief. Especially for a mother from what I understand

Maybe next year they'll stay local, and come to my house for Thanksgiving instead!

Good morning everyone! I'm really looking forward to getting out beyond the driveway for the first time since Sunday! There's still a little bit of snow/ice at the end of the driveway, but my husband snowblowed most of it last night.
I must say I feel amazing after two days shoveling! Bring on the next one, ha.
Welcome home, MikeInMa, when you finally arrive. I hope the drive past NYC isn't a nightmare. Thanksgiving seems like such a long time ago, already.
Hope everyone has a great, get back to normal, day!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. We got all the oak rounds moved and limbs cleaned up, and most of the pine cleaned up. Got our burn barrel out, it made short work of the smaller limbs and kept us warm too. Did split a little of the oak, will probably split a little more today. A friend is coming by to pick up some more cooking wood, oak and hickory...
Got to go back to work tonight, 2 nights this week.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Good morning all. Not much going on here. Need to bring in some more wood. Will do that in a bit. Overcast and hanging around 30 again. Have a good day everybody.

Good morning everyone! The sun is out, and temps are expected in the 40's, so today will be a good day for reconfiguring the snow. My husband is home, so we'll tackle the deck... IMG_20191205_037.jpg IMG_20191205_6797.jpg
At least we'll chop a path so we can get to the bird feeder. Those birds empty the feeder in less than a day. A lot winds up in the snow, but the mourning doves take it from there.
Heavy rain is expected next week, so it's better to have all that off the roof.
    Have a good day all.

Be careful on the roof, if you get up there

Oh no. The snow just slides off the metal, once it warms up a bit. My husband likes to poke the overhang to make it fall faster.

    Good morning.

After restoring my yard infrastructure, ( see storm thread) I need to reload the feeder rack on my deck. And, refill bird feeders.

After that, I expect to start hauling Christmas up from the basement.

Good morning everyone! We had a bit of a thaw yesterday, so we reclaimed part of the deck... IMG_20191206_49177.jpg
small victories this time of year.
Today I need to bring more of the shoulder season wood in. The season ran out before the wood did! Nevertheless it has to burn so I can put something else in it's place.
I might go to Sears today, it's closing and their store clearance sale is going on. Other than that, feed the stove, feed the birds, you know the wintertime drill.
    Have a good one all.

    It's finally friday!:dancer:
We had a short week here with hunting season starting. Weather has been a little ugly, but its time to celebrate the weekend.
Maybe work on an uprooted hickory if its not to muddy.
    Be safe, all. God bless.
