    Glad you were able to catch the log and bring it home. Sometimes they can be real skittish after being on the roll for awhile. Have you checked with the local log shelter?

    One bit of advice for keeping that orphan that no one has touched on yet; Do not give it water. No matter how much begging or whining you listen to, it'll be better off without any water!
