Looks like a nice day for it. That should get you warmed up and make a good stack of splits. What splitter are you using? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Its a mix of Oak, Maple, Sweet Gum, Cherry, and Sycamore. Al in all I think it will be about 4 cords.
A great days work Stoveaclaus , many helping hands make light work. And you you nice size rounds to work with at that.
So thats what that noise was. I kept hearing wood splitters from the across the Sound...it was you guys! All kidding aside, nice work guys! Good weather, good camaraderie, making firewood. Dont get much better. AWHNR!
Stoveaclaus has posted "ASNR" at the end of his postings and i had asked him what it meant . A Stovesman Never Rests. I reply with A Wood Horder Never Rests! kinda like an inside joke between us i guess!
It is nice when you get a crew together to get lots of work done in a little time. And at least one of the splitters is set up right (vertically, the way the tree grows). Good wood, good crew, good brew.
Now that’s living the high life! Wish I had friends to CSS with! None of my friends get the joys of firewooding. But at least I don’t have to share the wood at the end of the day.
