This will most likely stall the cold air blanket from sinking, unless you plan to open the bottom of the door up and place a large cold air return vent “facing” which would work better. We use a baby gate to keep the dogs out of the basement when we don’t want them down there.
Yep it is pulling the air up. Thanks Eric VW! That's good info. I guess we will have to invest in another baby gate. I hadn't thought about it blocking the cold air.
