Company has been going since about 2013, according to info I finally found. Can't tell how many employees (maybe a one man show)... but impressive biz model. Raw materials, personnel and equipment to prep & ship kiln dried firewood... and apparently, customers who will pay 10x more than here in Maine... what's not to like? They get the "work smarter, not harder" concept, for sure. Guessing that shipping firewood across state lines is no prob, because it's all kiln dried. Sure wish I'd come up with a biz idea like that years ago.
Maybe we need to go sit in a parking lot in 'Lanta...wonder what we could get for these loads up there
"kiln Dried" does not meet the standard for transportation into most states that have those rules.....because "kiln dried" can mean anything like "all natural" you can run wood through a Kiln for 5 minutes and call it kiln dried...... must be "heat treated" with USDA stamp
