Sorry to hear that. I hope you can recover day by day, and don't have anything pressing you need to do. Ham sounds great for Thanksgiving, I would trade turkey for ham every other year if I could.
    Take it easy!

Ouch! NOT good! I know exactly what you have to deal with. Mine left twice over last week through the weekend. Dang on the weather forecast too.

We had a nice day at Mom's yesterday. Not all work as we watched the 107th Grey Cup game of CFL football. The western team won it handily much to the surprise of the eastern team.

My childhood best friend played several years in the CFL before both his knees were too bad to go anymore. He played college ball at University of North Carolina.

Glad to see a fellow spoon/greenwood carver here. I was beginning to think I was alone. That's an excellent spoon for a first try. It's great having materials straight from the woods/yard/firewood pile.

I've been posting to this forum recently. New Carving Axe
And another one here Scored some Walnut! which I need to update as it's much more finished now.

We surely hope this does not last long. As for standing back up, I have that problem all the time when I get down. Tieing shoes or even putting on socks can really do bad things. Best thing I've found to do is put your hands on a wall and start walking up the wall with your hands while your back straightens up again. It is not a quick thing but it works.

For picking up things, you should definitely have one of those grabbers handy at all times.
