Why on earth would you put white siding, on a beige-brown house, under (phony) stonework. Probably cause you're under the influence of something else white. Or possibly can't afford anything else cause you were busted for selling something else white, one or the other. The stonework is supposed to go on the bottom.

the snowmobile is also exactly where I left it several months ago after it was left on my property...bet it's seized up.

 

I worked in a shop for 28 years. I would say 10 million board feet of lumber went in the dumpster in that time. I always said I was gonna build a house out of pallet lumber. College, marriage, kids, divorce..... never got to it. Jealous.

 

Well, I haven't built a house yet haha.

I just got in from the garage cutting up an 8 point buck a buddy gave me from his hunting in Wisconsin over the weekend. He only needed one, and had shot it the week before in MN. We typically go through 2 or 3 a year.

So I shot one, and was gifted another...he is a good friend!!

Will make for a lot of good eating while out on the lake in the spear house this winter!

 

Probably left overs from jobs they did. Same as the people who have a roof of all kinds of different colored shingles. They get packs from jobs they did, saving up over time till they have enough to do their roof. They don't care what color it is. It's all about function.

Just spent two wonderful days deer hunting. Nothing in the freezer yet but sitting in a tree stand just makes me complete
hard to explain to non hunters

 

I tell my wife this all of the time but she thinks I'm crazy. Function over form.

 

I've spent a little time away from the site, but not away from nature.

Besides my other hillbilly pursuits, I used my new carving tool to try my first spoon with a chunk of walnut from the 2020-21 stack.

Its all brand new, I watched it being delivered. A I understand your point though, the guy who does most of that work for him has one of those roofs, on the back of the house anyway. hard not to do when you're pressed for money, but it is.....ahem, eye catching.
