    Why on earth would you put white siding, on a beige-brown house, under (phony) stonework. Probably cause you're under the influence of something else white. Or possibly can't afford anything else cause you were busted for selling something else white, one or the other. The stonework is supposed to go on the bottom.

    the snowmobile is also exactly where I left it several months ago after it was left on my property...bet it's seized up.

    I worked in a shop for 28 years. I would say 10 million board feet of lumber went in the dumpster in that time. I always said I was gonna build a house out of pallet lumber. College, marriage, kids, divorce..... never got to it. Jealous.

    I just got in from the garage cutting up an 8 point buck a buddy gave me from his hunting in Wisconsin over the weekend. He only needed one, and had shot it the week before in MN. We typically go through 2 or 3 a year.

    So I shot one, and was gifted another...he is a good friend!!

    Will make for a lot of good eating while out on the lake in the spear house this winter!

    Probably left overs from jobs they did. Same as the people who have a roof of all kinds of different colored shingles. They get packs from jobs they did, saving up over time till they have enough to do their roof. They don't care what color it is. It's all about function.

    I wish I was still in the woods!

    Just spent two wonderful days deer hunting. Nothing in the freezer yet but sitting in a tree stand just makes me complete

    I've spent a little time away from the site, but not away from nature.

    Besides my other hillbilly pursuits, I used my new carving tool to try my first spoon with a chunk of walnut from the 2020-21 stack.

    I think I've "thrown my back out". I'm walking like what I remember too well my Dad and WWW and cannot stand back up if I bend down. Oh my what I take for granted. Kiddo has been awesome helping me get things from the floor for me like the dog bowls, I am so Blessed this little soul is ours instead of snap crackle pop of me using knees and hips to get near the floor. I'm headed for the couch again tonight for sick doody dog patrol, we'll see, I'm afraid to lay down, might have to wake up WWW and switch.

    We are expecting a snow storm, by late Tues we will have 6-18" of snow depending on the forecast source :eek: That much snow in CO is not big deal but with the wind up here it means huge deep drifts and being snowed in. We're not totally stocked for Thanksgiving dinner but plenty of food and WWW already brought home a ham :yes:.

    Its all brand new, I watched it being delivered. A I understand your point though, the guy who does most of that work for him has one of those roofs, on the back of the house anyway. hard not to do when you're pressed for money, but it is.....ahem, eye catching.
