Getting that loaded ATV up the hill to the trailer was a tough task. The ATV only weighs like 400lbs, and those cherry rounds probably weighed more than the ATV. I had to put my then 260 lbs mostly over the handlebars/ front axle otherwise it would've rolled over backwards. Now the beer. Lol. I still drink beer, but I've lost ~35 lbs, So I don't think I'd try that method again. I also now have a nice wide wheeled agrifab trailer for use behind the ATV/ tractor, or the hitch towed sled, so that wood pyramid probably won't happen again.
It was. I hated to cut it up but had no way to get it out of the woods, so i made some really pretty firewood.
you're being a slacker... tighten up...lol...way you're going, you may have to bring some down to Dixie for storage......
I had a huge 42+" white oak a few years back, wanted to make some 16' deck boards for the equipment trailer. Couldn't move but a 6' log...
From April this year. All split plus some now, in fact, no wood to split here at the house. Another story out at my best friend's place. We are years behind out there.
