Canada in for 'cold, harsh' winter – but most of BC forecast to be mild and dry Admin, I wasnt sure where to post this so feel free to move it if you want. This map shows parts of the states as well. Montana looks like it has a diverse predicted weather forecast this winter. My region in SW BC shows above snowfall and near normal temps this winter. I get a kick out of reading about seasonal weather predictions. I guess only time will tell.
What is normal? But I'm with you Sean as I usually look at those predictions. Sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong.
Might as well just throw a dart on the board and say that place will get 15 feet of snow where the rest gets nothing in comparison. We’re only capable of predicting something half right half the time anyways but preparation is only key right?
So far it has been drier than "normal" for us. Just really only one heavy rainfall so far with not alot of rain forecasted.
Alaska sure above normal 35° Now , into the 40°s today Shoulder season burning... My 3 year plan went to a 4 year plan... If this keeps up & I cut next October .... may become a 5 year plan... Sure noticing changes in nature, not sure what the long term effects will be???
Hopefully it will settle down for you. It looks like there is some colder weather coming your way. I know in our region people often rejoice when we have a low snow year since we get so much of it. Its nice to not have to shovel so much but then we often have a bad forest fire season.
Normally we should be getting monsoons during November but it has been quite dry over all. There is talk of snow next week but I wouldn't bet on it.
So last night we had monsoon rain and it is supposed to rain all weekend. But we are looking at a sunny week next week. No snow forcasted until the first week in Dec.
