So I got on an auction and bought a very used bale conveyor to go next to my splitter. I now have to travel to get it, and t will need soMe work but I am 1000% done buying firewood materials, with my last purchase being a MS550i once it hits the ya market. The fun never stops.

Literally everyday. And more than 4 times a day.

I have one I used to use for hay but haven't tried it for wood yet. I was told to loosen the pulley belt a bit in case of a jam up to prevent it from snapping a chain. Looking forward to see more pics of your rebuild.

I have a couple of customers who have used bale conveyors for wood if you keep the trash off splinters etc.they seem to work but you can't let the wood drop from the splitter right onto the conveyor they get jammed to easy and snap chains the one has a grate table on the end of his splitter and he pushes the wood on by hand and it works for him JB

I've got a 30', they're great. Yes to leaving the belt a bit loose. I put a Predator gas engine on mine, took 3 links out of the apron chain & replaced the paddle rivets with bolts. Set the splitter up near the conveyor $ drop the splits in as you go. Loads the trailer or piles wood very nicely.
