Black and Decker bought out Craftsman, which Lowes sells. Don't know if they will honor the lifetime warantee though.
I bet ive killed the battery in my jeep atleast 12-14 times at this point.. And it keeps on tickin away!! My alternator is on its last legs.. If the voltage regulator gets wet it really acts up. This last go around with my cooling system, i gotter wet. It usually only acts up for a few hours after getting wet. it'll only put out so much power and at higher RPM it'll charge more, but it wont maintain output power. Well, like i said, this last cooling system go around, i gotter wet, and the alternator played games for 3 days. Eventually began to put the hurtin on my battery, not charging it completely while driving, and with it getting cold, things havent been to easy for the battery. Well lastnight i charged it over nighht on a 1.5a trickle charger.. Thing has been great ever since. Im going to charge it again over tonight, think ive zapped some life back into the dang thing. Not sure how old it is, its a "Refurb" unit from AAA. Came in the jeep when i bought it not even a year ago. I carry 2 jump packs with me incase it decides to act up.. lol
Stanley ( Stanley black and decker ) bought craftsman and sears paid to keep the rights to their in store craftsman brand for 15 years. They can’t sell the new craftsman tools made by Stanley however. From what I read they got a screaming deal on the purchase because sears is cash strapped and desperate. Stanley owns dewalt, black and decker and a huge list of other brands.
My oldest son has been building a house in the woods, he bought 25 acres high up on a hill in Aug. He is working full time and has spent about every evening working on his home project. Lucky for him, he has a lot of friends he barters work for. Some of the work, like the well, running the electricity in, and pouring the foundation. He ordered all his building material and put the building up and closed it in. This is what he has to show for his work. This is the backside facing the view. 1000 ft road leading into his place. My son and his view. front side I think he said 44x34 10ft ceilings upstairs. Wood stove I used to heat with. Now he can use it in the new home.
He isn't, He does face a part of a whole line of lakes. Cobbossee lakes and stream. All freshwater. full of bass. The river near me is the Kennebec. It is tide water. I'm also up on a hill, but with no view at all. He has that million dollar view we would all like to have. He is isolated and has the Vista. His wife is one of those artistic types and really can decorate. They so many windows in that house. He has a huge attic, big enough to be an apartment. They will need it for storage.
