Late, but done

    Sorry, no pictures yet. Forgot to take the camera. But, the wood we cut in the winter of 2012-2013 has finally all been stacked and covered. There was only 5 cord but that is more than enough for a year.

    So, I got that done and finally got the garden tilled so now if we don't get too much rain, we can plant some corn. Also want to plant some corn for the deer and then after the gardens are all taken care of we'll plant some buckwheat for the deer.

    Quite a weekend for me this year and I've done more than I thought I could. One sour note though is that although I was finally able to ride the bicycle a few miles, I also got the year's first road rash. :mad:

    Some of that rash was on my feet so that makes wearing shoes difficult. So today while tilling the garden, I'm wearing rubber boots and the temperature is 80 degrees. Nasty.

    Good to hear Sav. I know you've been anxious to get after it. I have some rounds still from 12-13 I still need to split along with 13-14 splittin.....never thought I would say it but I'll be splittin in the summer cause it's drivin me crazy.

    The sound that I heard was the wife making her own dessert, none for me unless I made my way out of the recliner, which I did, she made me make my own.

    I guess she can burn Pine in January & February. :rofl: :lol:

    5 cord is a big bunch of wood. Way to get it done, Dennis. Rome wasn't built in a day - but it did get built. ( I'm not sure just what the heck that was supposed to mean, either).

    Any time Pete. I do hope to be planting the food plots next week but we can always just dump it somewhere and spread it later if need be.
