It’s not a competition and please don’t ever mistake my posts for chest pounding. Am I darn proud of what I did? Heck yeah but we all have our own situations and plans on what we should be doing. My future at some point calls for more relaxing

165 out the door after a long arse weekend. Have about 15 to go so it’s looking like 180 total. Field is just about empty and my main log guy is looking to start filling the field up again this week. The first pic shows where three 100’ “piles” were

The final tally is in...181.5 cords sold and delivered! I left the following wood for myself and my sons firewood stand in case his 5.5 cords aren’t enough: half cord of locust, just under half cord of hickory, just under half a cord of cherry, and 4 cords of hardwood. I also processed about 4 cords of pine for personal use as well. In the processing of all of that hardwood, I also generated about 6 cords of junk wood that will go in my OWB. And I didn’t include 2 cords of long oak pieces for my sister.
That puts the year at just under 200 cords total cut and split.
I started delivering on September 14 and am officially done as of today. I put 2,625 miles on my dump truck delivering during that time.
My most productive weekend was 25 cords delivered and 340 miles on my dump truck. I also had my nephew run 22 half cords in my pickup but I didn’t keep track of those miles.

    Whew! What a season!

Thats great. I wish i had your ambition! Other than the scrounge you just did have your tree guys started dumping fresh wood yet? How is the firewood stand doing after the news exposure?

Brad, with all of your scrounges, I think you have more ambition than me. No new logs dropped off yet but it will be any day. My son has made over $700 in sales so far this fall.

Excellent! He must be a happy young man!
You should start thread showing the accumulation of their wood dumping! Id be interested in seeing it pile up! Do they just dump it or let you know first?
