The rainbow bridge is awesome!! I put down the best dog I ever had 2 years ago. The vet gave us a copy of that.
I'm not sure if he has any notoriety outside of my family, but I named him Famous when I adopted him as a puppy. For context, my name is Richard. Rich & Famous.
Im thinking of making some sort of platform down there, its 19 out rt now and he loves laying out there. Hell sit down there in a snowstorm covered in snow and you barely can see him. He loves it. But hes 11 soon to be 12 and i dont like him laying on the cold cement pavers. Any suggestions????
I’ve seen mats (fiberglass, or some sort of plastic) with electric heating elements in them. Kinda like an electric blanket. The one I thought of first is for use in hog operations, but I think I’ve seen em for dog kennels also. Pretty sure they would be made to withstand the elements, rain snow etc....
I probably already posted... But there such bigg schweeeties! my guys (when I joined up) were named Turbo and Diesel (both gone now) Attached Files: IMG_6328 4x6.jpg IMG_6323 4x6.jpg
Deck boards screwed to slats should work without adding too much height under that first step causing a trip hazard. The dog can see down the driveway/street from there ? Being on the ground allows for a response to vibrations. SOme dogs just like the coolth though despite it not being good for hips/arthritis/pneumonia.
I know, when i call him he looks up at me and hes thinking no way Dad. He loves it out there. We have a screenporch that he spends alot of time in there too. I like the slats idea and the mat. Thank you all
