Good luck to all deer hunters!

Stay safe, know your target and beyond. (yeah, I know...nobody misses!)

    Success pics here.

Brother and son went out this morning.
Heard a boom just as it was getting light this morning, then another a few minutes later.
I'll be checking the buck pole later this morning.

Same here....I heard one shot while I was on my walk.

Our season has not started yet. With when the rut is on, and when Thanksgiving is, our WI hunt will suffer. They go in hiding once they start hearing gun shots. Wisconsin gun deer season starts based on the weekend before Thanksgiving, then going 9 days. So it's always 2 weekends, but if Thanksgiving is late like this year, it's too far past the peak of the rut.

I got the combo tag so can shoot 2 with one being restricted to 4 pts at least on one side. But that's about all I'll shoot anyway as I'm not interested in the little toy bucks.

One can also buy doe tags and I think they still allow 5 but not sure. I don't get those.

I'd say it's a mix, but none that are huge. I didn't notice until we were driving away that some had signs with info......such as when it was taken. That was the only one I got a glimpse of.
They may have had wight info too.
My brother mentioned the one he got last year dressed out at 175. The mount is finally on his family room wall.
