Mnm. Monster Maul. I swung one just once on an island off the coast of Maine. Ol Lobsterman was very proud of that tool. I broke it first swing. Missed the round with the head and snapped it off. There was Tequila involved.

Nice work ma'am! I have a monster maul. Dont use it that often. Got a Fiskars Isocore maul last month and love it. Along with the X27 the perfect splitting duo IMO!

Wasn’t there a consortium of chiropractors who bankrolled Monster Maul?

I found one of those mauls at a garage sale years ago. I think I paid $5 for it. I swung it maybe three times before I put it aside. Sold it last year at my moving sale for $2.

Anyone remember the Chopper 1? My grandparents bought one for my dad in the late 70s/early 80s. Still have that one along with the rest of my dads wood processing tools. I could never get the hang of whatever it takes to make that work like it should. Just seems to make a lot of noise when it hits the round.

There looks to be a curve in the handle; that must have been some lady swinging that thing to bend the handle.

My right-side back is still hurting me; I can't even stand up straight. However, we got the oak out of the woods.
