Got the winter tires put on the Explorer yesterday, went to a funeral, attended the cemetary ceremony and went to the Celebration of life. Had to leave the COL early as I neede to get back and pick up the truck from the shop before they closed. Just had time to make it to the dump then raked leaves out from under the ramp to the back door.

Today I gathered up the leaves from yesterday and placed them around some shrubs for winter protection. Light cleaning of both stoves, started the sn*w blower just for kicks (and to make sure it would start for potential upcoming storms). Went out for a somewhat chilly ride on the bike for about 1.5 hours just to charge the battery back up . did some reading and dishes. Never made it to get groceries, as I usually do on Sundays, but I have food so I can do that anytime in the next few days (as long as I have cream for my coffee I'm good).

To all you Vets out there, my personal thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You are the best, and are the reason we live in a free country.

Also, in case any of you or your dependants need anything Tractor Supply sells, I just got this in email.....15% off anything IN-STORE this coming Saturday the 16th. NO LIMIT to savings, just have to show your military proof of service.

A ton of pellets would end up being $221/ton after the discount.

Headed back up to Henry's on Saturday and grabbed another Skid of Platinum's as they make the perfect mix with the shorter Vermont's or Woods & Son's . Got my auger motor so yesterday I installed it , wont be keeping the old one for stock as it was leaking fluid like a mofo and the new one is so much quieter!
While it helped and needed to be replaced it did not fix my problem which after reading Badbob's thread about his sisters stove seems to be exactly the same problem I am experiencing. So onto the next item after I go back and read the responses everyone gave here. No work today in honor of our badass Veterans so time to get started on the leaves.

Leaves Leaves and more Leaves just got started and broke out the backpack and did the front yard which was 9 truckloads in itself . Plan on doing some every night when I get home from work , might have to set up some HID lights with the sun setting so early . Sore for sure as my backpack blower is heavy but apparently has to be in order to kick as as it does. Must have had some bad gas as it started fuxing up but nothing a few shots of Seafoam couldn't fix !

Back to work tomorrow with regret as its never easy and dragging my old arse outta bed at 3 AM is never fun, whole lotta crap going on at work but heh what I gotta do.
Hope everyone had a good weekend !
