My Hickory score last year proved to provide me with some Oak this year. Landowner's son contacted me and said they had some good size limbs down, and wanted to know if I was interested in the wood. I went out this morning and started working on it. These came off of some pretty big Oaks. In the one field I counted 6 to 8 big Oaks, definitely old-growth. Pretty Majestic looking I must say. The XS 261C-M handled it all pretty well. I still have some more cutting to do and rounds to pick up, but that's for another day. Big oaks. Piles

Hey buZZsaw BRAD the saws not new, but has been recently massaged by huskihl. It is a pleasure to run. A little chilly today, around 37° for the high. Back to about 95%, leg is still a little tender.
I think I'd maybe talk him into bringing the rest of them hollow one's down. Not looking too good and won't get better. I see free heat...
Good to hear your back to your "old" self. I knew you were having it worked on, hence new in "quotes". Was this the first use of it ported? One of my dislikes about the 261 is when noodling it will jam up fast with noodles underneath. Did you have any problems like that?
I agree, however they aren't endangering any property or structure, so I don't think they're too worried about them.
I've used it cutting DSRO at my neighbors. Probably got 4 tanks through it. Any smaller saw clutch cover we'll load up the noodles, this one is no different. I just keep an eye on it.
It’s usually the chain catcher that stops up the noodles. No real way around it other than a roller chain catcher.
