Been overcast, windy and kinda cold the last several days. I had a fire in the stove last night even. Was 60* in the house.
Was 60º in the house this morning here, too. 40º outside this morning. melons and peppers still in the GH they have to go in this weekend.
I was tempted to just turn on the heat but my house is all in floor heat so it takes a good 10-12hrs before the slab is up to temp.
I have a nice attached solar space and haven't stepped foot in it this year. So hard to get around. I might end up having a few things in there because I am so late getting going. Solar space on left from two years ago. Nothing growing there today.
Dave if you get sick of eating cukes, let me know. I'd love to have a couple. I love fresh garden cukes. I had a small garden when I lived in Idaho and the cukes loved that hot summer sun. I had maybe a dozen plants and I literally had several 5 gal pails of cukes at a time. I couldn't even give enough away! Have not had any luck here with them. Either the bugs or moose kill the plants or they don't make it. Too wet, not hot enough? and it rots out I guess. Even my lawn this year is having trouble, it's more yellow than green!
