What y'all cooking with in the stove...it was 34° this morning, so got a couple splits of tulip poplar, small round of oak and a few nuggets thrown in...then I had to come to work......

 

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPLENDID SUNDAY. Beautiful blue sky and cool temps this morning. No frost yet. Another day at the paying job, off tomorrow... delivering a load of oak and hickory to a new customer, then dealing with more paperwork for Mama's care...

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Off today, got to deliver a load to a new customer, then more running around, checking on stuff for mama's care. Late this evening, a friend is coming to get a load as well.

Good morning everyone! It's a sunny frosty morning out there, perfect for getting stuff done. I'm going to work on leaves to start, but I'm sure I will drift off into wood chores later.

Good morning Everyone it’s back up in the mid 60’s here this morning. I had planned on getting up early this morning and cutting up a tree that I laid down last week but both my boys woke up before me this morning so that didn’t happen. Maybe tomorrow. Instead we fed the chickens and a raked up some pine straw to throw in the chicken coop. Gotta make that compost. Gonna go spend the rest of the day with my wife’s family. She lost her grandmother yesterday. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone! Election day, no school, so I'll head down to MA for some babysitting. My son is working from home, so I won't have to hang out for 10 hours. I hope the traffic is lighter today.
I cleaned up the front and side yards yesterday, will do the back yard tomorrow. Then we get rain, and cold. Not ready for that!

Good evening y'all. Hope y'all had a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Slept in a little this morning, my hunny worked at the voting precinct...yes, she is a "poll worker"........she had to be up a bit before 5 this morning. Saw her off, then decided to go back to . Brought in a little wood for later this week, went to my son's house, worked there for a couple hours. Started back to work on 7PM-7AM shift for 3 days. Kind of a short day.

Good mornin friends....
Was gonna go huntin with some friends...but...i gotta work a few hours today.
Then i plan on goin to get 70 snow angels n screws for the back of garage (did the front about a two months ago). Had spouting put on garage this year ...so i dont want snow and /or ice to tear it down.
Hope if weather holds up....so we can get out tomorrow to do some huntin.

Time to clean the gutters and one last lawn mowing. I'll bag some of the clippings for the compost bin.

I'll also need to drain all hoses. Temps forecasted into the low 20's, this coming weekend.

Snow forecasted about an hour north of here, Thursday night. Should be all rain here.

Time could running out for "easy" wood scrounging at WeldrDave's new place.
