    A recent post asking about "what kind of Birch", reminded me of one of the most informative youtube videos I've ever seen.



    The channel, New England Forests, is really great, centered around Western Massachusetts but extending through all New England and has really well done documentary type videos on forests, specific tree species and wildlife.

    The group also has their own website; New England Forests with lots of archived articles and notices of local events, one of which, of course, we just missed in
