    Perhaps it is like the rose. Not only are they beautiful, but they also have thorns. But most folks tend to look at the beauty.

    One is in The Keweenaw and one is in The Porkies

    Our family had a cabin in the UP for 18 years love it up there
    no pasties down here!

    Nice pictures Dennis . Of course I’m seeing lots of maples that should be tapped ! Lol

    Many probably don’t know this but we do have more maples here in Michigan than any other state including Vermont or New York .
