    Nice Ironwood, I cut and burn it whenever I come across it. Here is a little tip I found....after drying ......
    either bring it indoors or cover it well......That type of bark will hold a lot of moisture.
    Don't ask how I know. :picard:

    image.jpg She is loaded, all the bottom ones are full logs, thats what the boss told me to do, just get it all home c&s during winter. Top rounds were far from truck

    Yup, iv always sold a few cords a year but im really ramping it up for next year. If i dont sell any ill be on my way to a 20 year plan :rofl: :lol:

    The one in the foreground may be hop hornbeam (ironwood)

    Hard to tell on my phone, but I think this is the one he was referencing.

    You talking about the double that i took the left side already, if so its white oak. I looked up ironwood and some bark pics look similar to white oak

    Went for a little drive to check for some wood. Played with the saws in the garage today considering the nor’easter. Goin back to the quarry tomorrow. I lit the stove and now its 75 in here.
