    Got the rest of the wood chopped up including the few trees I had to remove for the garage. Plus a juniper that was right next to the bottom of my driveway. A certain percentage of it has varying amounts of rot as it sat in the forest for 2 years, great uncle randy wouldn't take a cent for it. Adding what's already inside there's a good bit of wood now, but grandfather seems pretty insistent that this will have to be the last year for wood.

    Burning most of the old junk wood today. Probably one more day and it will all finally be gone. Most of it has been sitting around rotting on the ground for 2-3 years. It feels good to finally get rid of the mess!

    Just what I've read. Morning wedding and someone came in shooting. At least it was a weekend, that is a pre-K & Kindergarten as well. A friend of Charlotte's goes there.

    Spent time outside today. Before sunset I tackled a leaning cherry tree that was due to fall on my fence. Cut it but it’s hanging I up on an oak. Been cutting the trunk into rounds and pulling on it. Still have about thirty feet left so tomorrow I will do a block and tackle while standing behind a good tree, and get her on the ground

    The stuff split nice and clean. All thrown onto a pile of other large half and quarter splits with some other species for 2021 boiler season.

    Good Morning :coffee: ... working on getting the ol' body moving after yesterday's day of playing in the yard... It was a little windy, but absolutely beautiful... Moved some 4 year old honey locust up to my neighbor that I sold him and split me some down in size for my fall fires... Thats stuff was resplit wonderfully, I should have took a moisture reading... I'll have to do that next time... But sounding like bowling pins I'm sure it was down to the teens... I'm going to back home for a few hours to see Mom and Dad... You all have a good day...
