Manged to get a load of Ash home Thur. Before the rain started again still have a dozen or so 6'x 10" logs to get out But with all the rain I can't get the rigs back to them. Guess I will just have to flip them end over end to get to where I can get them on to transport. Do not want to cut the to splitting length as it is much simpler to just strap the 6' pieces down on the trailer. not to mention lugging chunks 50 yards a piece. Dead standing, burned some last night and stuck a couple 6" rounds in the stove this morning 36F and apx 20 mph winds at home, might be snow showers Sun. in my home area.

The wind finally died down from the ocean storm that stalled for three days just to the east of us. Luckily the more usual west to east weather patterns are pushing it east and the wind and rain have stopped having moved east, although we didn't get anywhere near the rain that some other places did. We could use it as we've had a bit of a deficit . With temps dropping I might get some cutting done too.

Doesn't look like we'll get out of the 40's today but really feels good. I'm just about ready to take a shower and head out hunting.
