McKinley fire has had boat launch shut down.
Last trip was a run with pallets for stacking.
Moose season is open , but not able to launch boat.
Stacking more wood in the basement
    70°, aaaarg.
    Too warm to hunt anyway.
Left section was to be this season’s wood

Won't be long and we'll be waiting on the Alaskan birch gathering.

    Hope so.
If it stays this dry, not sure the
    woodcutting area will be open
    (due to fire danger)

Right where I want to be.
Couple fires, and the rest can be dumped down the chute.

Is that a Yamaha Kodiak? I’ve had the same one since 2001. It’s like a part of me now.

I like your plywood with ropes idea to keep stacks from falling over. Brilliant!

    Thanks.
Really helped with the big Quake we had last winter.
Some fell but most stayed in place, well didn't fall.
It was moved around a bit ... I pounded back in place.
