Had a high of 57 yesterday. Looks like fall is here. Still they saw 83 for tomorrow before back to the cooler air. Low 50's before the weekend gets here. Maybe some frost.
We are warm and very humid on this side of the lake till Wednesday. Then it looks like fall will set in.
The warm and humid just hit us in the last hour. It's only 70 but really sticky. Might not be good hunting tomorrow.
Blast! It's September 30 and its 94° in Northern Kentucky! Only thing burning is us peoples! It's gonna be in the mid 90's for another 4 days! No fires in sight for quite a while yet. Not our usual weather, we usually have the stove burning at night or in the morning by now.
It was 36 this morning outside. 62 inside till I lite a fire in the furnace. With the new chimney liner and a damper on the back with 5 pieces of maple my burn time was 8 hours and the house is 78.
82f and humid here. It had been cool. Now my cement in the garage is sweating pretty good. The house is still cool inside. Thankfully a cold front is on our doorstep.
Crazy. It was 70 degrees when I went out hunting this morning. I'm ready for the cool to stay here until spring.
We woke up to our coolest morning so far this fall at -8c/17.6f. It was a beautiful clear morning with lots of frost. Spruce heating the house tonight.
Welcome Shawn Lettre , we've got a good thing going here. I'm sure you'll have a few laughs, pass on knowledge, and gain some as well.
Highs in 50s til friday.. Over 2 inches of rain last few days.. No fires yet.. Wife still has windows open.. But I can have fire with windows open
I was watching the news last night and the weather man pointed out that Toronto Ontario was 31.3c/88f and closer to me was Claresholm Alberta at -19.5c/-3f. What a swing!
-5c/23f for us this morning with another good frost. The spruce of last night obviously didnt last until this morning so the furnace will take the heavy lifting until we get home tonight. It looks like another clear sunny day in the BC Rockies!
I talked with a friend of mine that lives in Tampa, Florida. He said it wasn't that warm in Tampa on Monday when we had 91.
98* here today, our average is 72*... the hottest 10/02 on record for this area. 50% of the time I will have had a small fire atleast once, in the evening more for nostalgia than anything... AC’s been running everyday since May.
53F with rain & a cold East wind here. Dew point of 53 as well. Talk about damp & cold. Loaded the boiler with chunks & uglies & touched her off! Some Maple, Oak, & Elm pieces keeping the water @ 180. Looks like it's choochin time here.
Good day ya'll, 42* here. No fire/heat, the house is warm. We've got a couple of nights coming with temps in the low to mid 30's. Picking whats left of the peppers and tomatoes tomorrow.
