Yup.................that much rain makes a good night to stay in and drink lots........................
Not quite yet. Set up with the mower and vac system whilst I fight the annual pine needle/leave war. 26 mature long-needled white pines and several maples keep the ground covered. Right now it is almost a daily clean up of 1 acre. Once that is over, I'll strip her down and down a good clean up and full service then get her snow ready. Sure do love my 'Bota though......................
Well Seasoned , Send some of that rain down here!! We are burning up. Only upside, is all the wood that was re-saturated last year is finally bone dry. Our local almanac used to have Wooly Bear contest every year. Kids in Hagerstown used to love it. Almanac's woolly bear contest goes extinct
I've only seen but one Woolly Bear this year. I asked him, "how's winter gonna go this year"? He wasn't talking, I think they are over rated.
Thats not good. I should hoard more wood then. Scrounged over five cord in over the last three weeks. AND i should run out for bread and milk!!!
We'll pay for this warm fall. It looks like this coming week will be another warm one for our area with daytime temps in the mid 60's. I did get rid of about five more loads of junk wood today in the outside fireplace, many years of big ole splits that held down the covers that were thrown off to the side....never again. I should have the first area ready for two face of beech and ash for Monday. buZZsaw BRAD , I took this picture on 4-19-2019.
