95 for weeks . We only get two weeks all summer where the heat is hard to take, more so now that we are older. Starting to get cool out and today Im burning a small fire in the shop and running some heat in the home. Glad things are cooling off for you. We are getting showers here today but its time to get things done before winter.
Went to a Mopar show over the weekend to sell some parts. Got a break to walk around and snapped some pictures of some of my favorites.
And just 2 days ago I saw a forecast that said we would be below normal. I guess we'll just have to accept whatever we get.
We had a big storm move through here. Lots of close lightning and heavy rain. Looks like we'll get another one yet before it is over.
It's bleepin hot outside. First day of deer season and it's 91. Last year we went from AC one week to fire the next. Probably the same this year. 8 more working days and I'm on vacation. Nothing has gone right at work for 3 weeks...I couldn't be more ready to get out of here.
Wow. We got up to 77. It is 70 at present but extreme humidity. We've had lots of rain since a bit before noon. More on the way it appears. Much cooler tomorrow. Saw 6 does this morning. 4 were within 10-15 yards and did not know I was there. Would have been easy pickins but, not interested. It's been a long time since I shot a doe. We don't need the meat so why shoot them? Let the neighbors have them.
Don't expect many likes on this one. LOL.. I like looking at deer but never was into hunting them. I don't even like deer meat. With that being said,, I don't care that others are into it as long as it doesn't go to waist and they are safe about it. When I was young my dad wanted me to go hunting with him but I was more interested in girls.
Really cool that we had a whitetail the other day in our field but didn't get a picture of it but I did have this show up at my door.
I had an 8 pt dead to rights this am but he wasn't big enough to burn my only buck tag on the first day of season in 90 degree temps.
Turbodiesel has been on my road. 10 mph max! How on earth would the water truck end up like this? Almost crushed my best friend’s wife and daughter. She put it in reverse just before getting mashed. They can’t get up the road yet and we are communicating via text. More pics to follow.
