    Last year my local Ace hardware was selling them for 269.00 a ton, this year they are 319.00 :bug:

    I seen online they where on sale for $4.99 a bag plus 11% off. Looks like that would make them $222 for a whole tone. If I could get Somersets for that price I would probably do the same .

    4.99 is the price for the softwood I believe, or 4.44 with the rebate.

    A guy near me has them but he’s asking $350 a ton for them. I think that’s definitely high.

    I remember those. Saw them early season , then gone at bt. Cant stand 290-320 a ton for pellets now.

    Who in Connecticut is stocking these, at what price ?

    I haven't seen these in CT since I picked them up at our local HD a few years back. I think they were a bit more than the standard pellets they had at the time. I'd probably grab another ton or two if they stocked them.

    Use some baby powder or corn starch to stop the sticking....dump it on the hopper sides

    Really ? interesting does this actually do the job as its a much less time consuming procedure than emptying the hopper . sanding . and applying wax . With the limited time I have this is appealing .

    Never tried softwood? In pellets, that should be your go-to.
