Morning all, this weekend my wife wants to go to a fair on Unity Maine called the Common Ground Fair. Anyone ever heard of it?
VERY down to earth event, LOTS of great information and exhibits, very well attended....put on by Maine Organic Farmers and Growers Association, so there is a distinct earthy feel to it.
If you like the "Mother Earth" magazine, you will love the Common Ground Fair. It has been many years since I last attended. It started out small then grew and grew, relocated three times to it's current location. I think they plan to stay there for the foreseeable future "The annual Fair hosted by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association. We are hear. This is much larger than I imagined. Being in what seems like a more rural part of Maine I would imagine this is a big annual boost to the local economy.
