The tigercats won on a last second FG. The Eskimos tied it up after being down 21-0 in the first quarter.
I believe that I won last night then. It's great beer. I actually prefer it over yuengling, I'll bring a couple of cases of yuengling back with me since you can't get that in Sconnie though.
Yup. 6 speed set up helps out. I was aware of the towing limit (2000 lbs). The trailer is rated as a 2200 lb payload FYI and the distance is right around 6 miles. I baby it so I think I'll be OK. I did drive it at around 60 mph and decided to keep it at around 50. No hurry being retired and all!
Keep your fingers crossed on that one...…..I noticed another green one that may be going up for auction soon!
No, that’s above Corolla, Outer Banks NC. That was a great trip too for the most part, but much more crowded.
I'll never forget the time I was called on the carpet because of my hiring practices. They tried to force me to hire only one type of worker. That hung them because I call racial on them. I was out of there within 2 minutes of doing that and never heard another thing from them.
Heading out to Salem (MA) shortly, Taking the 4 legged to lunch at flatbreads on the water. Not much left of outdoor stuff, gotta take it while we can.
What an awful start for the day. First, we had a low of only 61 degrees and from there it kept warming up fast. Too warm for me for sure. But last evening I received an email from eye doctor's office saying my new glasses were in. Too late to get them last night so went this morning to get them. First, realize I had cataract surgery on August 5. My thought were to get this done well before hunting season and wood cutting season. Had to wait 3 weeks before getting a new prescription for lenses. Got that done in almost exactly 3 weeks. New glassed did not come in for over 2 weeks.... They were wrong. So they sent them back in and put a rush on them. This morning I about came unglued when I put them on as they were still wrong. Then they had the gall to tell me I had to wear them for 2 or 3 days to "let my eye adjust". That is pure baloney. I've had glassed now for over 70 years and whenever I got new glasses and I could not see right away, my eye never adjusted. I had not paid for them yet and I refused to pay for them now. The lady said they'd have to set an appointment to see doctor and I told her to do just that and then call me to let me know when it was. They called me later and I did apologize for walking out as I did and I told the lady I thought the new lenses got ordered with the old prescription from a couple years ago. Bingo. About a half hour later she called me back and that is exactly what happened. So, she said she'd try to get a rush on the new ones.... We'll see. Great, when I decided to get the surgery done before fall and hunting season I figured all would be well. Now I highly doubt I'll have glasses when hunting season begins... Such is life, I guess.
