I have a 365 that cuts crooked. I have replaced the bar with a new one and put on new chains. Does anyone have other suggestions as what it could possibly be. Thanks for any help

Are you using the dogs to pry thru the cut? I’ve struggled with that at times, and think with single dogs, it’s best to let the chain pull the saw thru and not the dogs. Ymmv

May sound dumb but make sure the chain gage matches the bar.

Thanks for the replies. I’m going to recheck the chain, knowing me I probably got the wrong size. I do have a double dogs on it the outside one I got for it when the saw was given to me. My brother found it in a dumpster. Thanks again guys.

Wish I could find a 365 in a dumpster. Or pretty much any saw other than an old small p.0.s. Homelite

Hmmm, new bar, new chain. Are the dogs square to the bar(or are they equal lengths)?

Besides all the other good suggestions placement of your left hand may make a difference. Solved the problem on my 372

He works for the local electric power company and was in the St.Charles area. He had to throw some stuff away and there it was. I put about 150 in into it. Runs great. By the way do you have retriever?

Check the rim sprocket as well, could be causing premature where to the chains drive links. If you have to force the saw through the cut the chain is dull.
