Much better than the darker pine pellets that leave a sticky residue.

Grabbed some of these at TSC this past season and loved em so much, went back for a 1.5 tons more. Really looking forward to burning them this winter. Definitely give them a shot, think you will really like them. Small warning these will bridge in the hopper as all pine pellets do, so just be aware of it.

Awesome find, I looked online and it says free ship to store. I'm thinking about trying a ton, not much for softwoods in my area. I did notice there was a premium price attached, not sure they would be worth that much extra money ? I'll be watching to see if they go on sale when the regular brands do.

Yeah, they are priced at 5.99/bag. But a little birdie told me they will be putting their 11% rebate on pellets starting Sunday. I plan on picking up 4 or 5 ton of Somersets and 1 or 2 ton of the Softies if they actually will ship to the store.

I already have next weeks ad, and it's 11% off. I think they also do $10 off per full ton? Usually at my store they would do $199 a ton sale plus the 11% off and $10 off per ton a few times a year, is that what your stores do? I remember paying some where around $166 a ton last year. If they have a nice sale I wonder if they will include these? Hope they ship to store, that would be a nice option to have a ton for polar vortex weather. Keep us posted.

How much are you paying for the sets? Just trying to get an idea the price difference between sets and AWFs.

I’ve burned these, nice pellet. My b itch is that they funnel, they don’t slide in the hopper and the stove goes out when you still have 15 or so pounds in the hopper or more. I love them but I only burn them when I know I’m going to be there to monitor them. I roasted tons from the fire sale at the big boxes $ 1.99/bag which we’l Never see again :(

    know what you mean...
was thinkin bout putting an alarm clock in the hopper....see if that could stir up some movement..
or, an old cell phone you could call, set on vibrate....silly shi....... might work if i get slow moving pellets again.:dex::dex:

Hopefully they lower the price to 199/ton and give the 11% discount...that is what I paid last year. My other local source for sets is 5,69/bag if you purchase before 9/30.

I LOVE these pellets! But they do funnel and hand on to the sides of the hopper like others have mentioned.

Are those AWFs? If so, burned them a few years back. Great pellet! And the bag smelled nice and piney when cracked open. I haven't seen them around these parts of CT in quite some time.

TSC had some last spring. I tried to get a full ton, But they were limiting them at the time. 6 bags each purchase.

By the time I got 12 bags, They were sold out of them.

Burned clean with really good heat. Only complaint was hopper sticking. A non issue if you like to fondle your pellet..........
