Hello all, I answered a CL add for 40 plus trees to take down. I met the ladies today and its nice hardwood. 90% of it is stuff i can buck into 4 footers and easily load into my truck. Couple of big ash and oaks but not too big to pick up cut into 16 -18 inch rounds. Im starting tomorrow and ill have some pics. Its in Milford Nh only 15 mins door to door. Its in a quarry and really cool looking place.
2-3 weeks, its a quarry and they got a guy coming from Portsmouth nh to pluck some rocks with an excavator and these trees are in the way, ill dice up the tops and make a couple of piles. Maybe burn some for them. I work 5:30 to 1:30 and can be there everyday by 2:00. Its gonna be awesome
Pics tomorrow i promise, its really a nice place. Im so excited i feel like a kid on Christmas eve. See if theyll let me take some stones for a nice fire pit down by my waterfall.
That wold be cool too. As a mason I like rocks too. Always looking for pics of New Hampshire. Beautiful state.
Here’s some pics from today, playing around with cattle panels fitted on skids for my buddy to move his wood to the OWB with his tractor. I shrink wrapped one too ( not too much so it gets air flow) cattle panels are $25, cheaper than those $100 dollar water tank cages. I know Tito has alot of fans here so i threw in a pic of him playing with his 4 foot 4x4. I give it to him when i want my lawn destroyed
can you train Tito to bring 4' rounds to the truck at your new honey hole? Great score BTW and i know the kid on Christmas eve thrill....only something us crazy wood hoarders would understand. Looking forward to the pics!
Good score and always nice to have something to look forward to after work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
White oak stack yesterday. Tito rockin some man glitter (oops) got in trouble by the wife for that one, i left the door open and he went and sat down in the living room . I cant seem to leave the small limb-wood for the burn pile.
So i had to go out for work and stopped by the quarry to see if the ladies fixed the rd. It was done and they did a great job. Top two pics are scenery and the bottom ones are the trees to be cut. Theres more down further too. Its a cherry goldmine which is great for my indoor BBQ. Lots of dry stuff on the ground also. Good mix of wood Though. Next pics will be loaded truck pics.
Ladies fixed the road? Don’t tell me all New Hampshire women have a spare bulldozer in the barn. I’m moving Nice scenery. Get fillin that truck.
I guess you're feeling better! Great score, I hope you can take some of that granite, it would be great for steps and terraces. Nice time of year to get this wood.
Looks like a great score/job Woodwhore Does your saw bother Tito much? Holly won't come near me when running mine, but she also is more than willing to take a chip bath. Hope you can get some of those stones as well.
