Had our first fire last night.
Headed up to finish cutting the wood the Grandsons helped me with the other day.
Nice looking day with a few small clouds.
Was just finishing up when the wind and rain started and ended up soaked.
Almost time to break out the rain gear.

Oregon and especially Washington. Isn't rain gear Sunday going to church wear?

I live on the dry side of Oregon. ( East of the Cascades mtns.) Usually August and September are very dry, with almost zero rain. Not this year, we have had 7 or 8 rain days in last couple months. Very nice to not be breathing forest fire smoke like is the norm for this time of year.
