Amazingly, it actually still works, but you can't close apps so I'd have to power it off then back on.

    That got old quickly.

Eh, spent $50 for it around 18 months ago.
I'd say I got my money's worth out of it.

I've been mowing every 4-5 days all spring and summer. Fall so far no different.

This is an example of where size does matter. I have macular scarring dead center of my right eye that distorts images in the center of my viewing field. If the screen is too small, things in the center are not viewable with that eye at all. a larger viewing field means I can see part of what is in the center. I have a new Iphone xr which really makes a difference. 6.1 in. liquid retina display. I also bought a safety case that was just under $100 for it. Really protects the phone from damage. The other thing I like is that of viewing the home security.

Ironically, that is the reason I purchased the Droid.

Shoulda known it was a slippery slope.

Technology has come along leaps and bounds. And now affordable for many who never would have been available to access it. I have multiple security cameras that won't allow for a breach without being seen. We used to say "that never happens around here" now we know that is a false sense of security. I have two very alert dogs, (a husky upstairs with my son's family and my lab downstairs with us) outside dusk to dawn lighting, and security cameras.

We currently have a 4 cam system.
3 external cams and one internal cam.

I've often thought of upgrading and expanding coverage as my external cams have one exploitable weakness that can easily be addressed with the addition of 2 more cameras.

The internal cam cannot easily be exploited, but of course nothing is 100% guaranteed.

We have nothing of tremendous value mind you, but I value what we have.

Yes, being able to watch the security cams is a great feature of smart phones.

Got back from a gtg a short time ago. It was a nice drive and yes, in places there is some good color and in others it is green.

Some might enjoy this picture taken at the gtg:

And my phone the g7 is 6.2" so his is the same size as mine and I would not consider this a phablet. Haha

My Moto e5 cruise didn't seem too big, until I put the case on it...that seemed to "put it over the top" size wise...sure has been a life saver for damage though! Tiggers bounce ya know... ;)

More shelves/bench in my new to me storage shed.

I need to start moving stuff into it and see where I am going to put and what I am going to put in here. IMG_20190915_163013454.jpg IMG_20190915_162835528.jpg

Yeah, this case probably adds about 1/8" on each side, and adds about 1/3 the weight.

But, if it protects the phone it's worth it.

A coworker paid $1K for his newest phone.
    :faint::makeitrain"

This one cost $275, expensive by my standards.

I wired it back up like it was built at the factory. Those LED bulbs were designed to run with ballasts. So I will buy more and install them. Right now it's back on the ceiling running a florescent tube.

Completely forgot about your lighting issue clemsonfor

So, will you be purchasing ballasts to complete the swap?

I never took them out when I straight wired them for the bulbs. I just cut the wires and left them in there. So I just reconnected all the wires back. That pic of the light on the ceiling I just posted is the fixture we have been discussing. It is back to a florescent fixture with a florescent tube in it. Supposedly the great value LED will work with ballasts. I just need to buy some new ones. My Walmarts around here just have soft white bulbs. I want the daylight ones like I had, I just have to find one that carries them or find enough stuff to order online. I bought them while in Greenville SC, an hour and a half from my house when I was there.
