Your probably totally confusing me with someone else. I don't have a suburban and never have. I do have a Sequoia the Toyota competitor to the suburban but it's white?

Stacked wood yesterday. I took a break once and sat on the tractor. Looked ahead and one of our friends was looking around for something to eat.

:picard: It appears the brown truck and the Suburban in my mind are the same vehicle and not a Suburban at all

I think you were asking me on that last post what the differences were between the k5 Blazer and the k10 Trucks on that post?? I mentioned the suburban cause it's the sister to the blazers. The k10 Trucks and k5 Blazer are like sister and brother where there Blazer and burb are closer and share more and like sisters. But to confuse that Chevy used the 10/20/30 badges on them like the trucks. Also there will be some parts that are burban unique. Maybe rear doors? Not sure it there the same as a crew cab square body rear door?

Red oak in for ground but yes the white oak in back is what he brought. Yep I’m trying to get back ahead to 3-4 years. If I get a little more ash I’ll be ready for winter, but most of what I beena cutting has been down 2 years. Tree guy is a good neighbor.

Was gonna take it easy today, had a knock on the door this morning and it was my nieces grandfather. I went over to pray for his father and family the other day, hospice had been called in.
Then today the family ask me to do his memorial service as he passed. Of course will, get to honor a veteran and friend. Then washer died so wifey and I went to laundry mat to do the wash. While there cousin called so I had to go fix one of the disc cutters. Well then I had to fix the other one and tighten both belts on them, just got other one done and cousin shucked a pro shaft. Got that changed out and stayed till they finished. Now I’m sitting in the ac waiting on supper. Hope everyone had a great day!

I LOVE the old square bodies. I built a nice 86 brown with the cream 2 tone on the bottom, but sold it back in 99 before it was finished and bought a new Superduty instead.

Crazy that those square bodies are.nkw worth what I paid for the new truck that replaced it

This one was originally brown and cream two tone. Cream roof, hood and between the side moulding that is now gone

Noticing that I’m often doing something with wood every day. Yesterday I picked up pallets that were mostly oak. Even bought some whiskey barrel staves, hard to find these around here. Today bought a bunch more staves, this time some from a red wine barrel and a full pack of white wine staves. Some project for later. I’d get to work on splitting wood but it’s often becoming warm and humid, waiting on cool weather to work in.

wildwest - Nothing to report. After my "announcement" , of course, had a few issues with current projects popping up that killed a week. Went to Michigan for a few days and on my return, had a few "zombies" resurrect their ugly heads from Feb. & March. That was today. Now,..... NOW they want us to proceed on these projects !! :hair:
And my big one for the Fall/Winter is looking really promising. Spent phone time and sent off a revision for that one today also. The remainder of my week will be busy.
I know I have to do all the CDOT testing and whatnot, but I do have an obligation to make sure my guys have work coming in.
