First fire of season in the fireplace.
Will be another month or so before the boiler clocks in 1568076526787339780473508790308.jpg

Right where I want to be.
Was 38 this morning, so after much cogitation and reflection.......I made fire.
Added a couple extra pieces before the fire went out and shouldn't have. Got a bit too warm in here.
Finished filling the shed with my small kindling resplits today, so I'm ready for SS now and Spring.

Suppose to get down to 39 degrees here tonight, and my new radiator for the IS will be delivered tomorrow so no fire yet.

    Patience....:hair:

guess we are picking up the residuals from the hurricane the rest of the week- rain rain and more rain- fired stove last night not a full load just enough to warm the place up to apx 70 was 65 inside and 70% humidity. turned on the dehumidifier before i left this morning as humidity was still at 70% . the unit in the basement has bitten the dust but have a spare here at shop i will take home tonight. ran a face cord of fuel into basement over weekend.

How are the colors progressing? Some are changing quite fast around here but no big change yet; just spotty.

No evening outdoor fires with the current risk of EEE being as high as it is.

It's been around for many years and many people get it and never even know what it is/was/that they had it, but every few years it's especially rampant. This year is one. About a third to a half of the state has had to spray for mosquitos. Spraying is not (as) common here like it can be for some places on the Gulf Coast.

No fires in our fire place yet. Our 8 year was asking about when we will have our first fireplace fire the other day, but then asks In Confusion why I have the pit roaring when it’s 85 outside. Lol
