Is that one of those heat/ac units. If so how do you like it? We are having somebody come out to give us an estimate Thursday evening. Do you mind if I ask how much it ran you.

It is a dual head unit and 24,000 BTU. No heat. I thought the receipt(s) was with the owners manual(s) but it's not. Seems to me it was 3K installed but it was 7 years ago.

Aside from an occasionally hot day where we will turn on the AC, we should be mostly done with using the AC.

I'm sure there wll be a couple of AC worthy days though.

Looks pretty doubtful 'roun heah that we'll need the air anymore this year. It's coming out of the window soon.....very soon. Maybe tomorrow.

Yeah, we're heading down to 42 by early morning. Might, just maybe....require a small fire in the morning. Ahem.

Pretty early in the season, but I got a small fire going just now. IAT is 61, which is great for sleeping, but not so much for sitting here on FHC.
Hey, someone's gotta' do it, right?

I doubt we'll use our air conditioners again this fall and that pleases me. Won't be long until we run the stove again.

I think my wife has been reading this thread secretly! She has started doing 74 during the day and 70 at night... or she has been abducted by aliens?? Won’t be long till we can just shut it off can’t wait. Then it’ll be me under my wool blanket and her shutting our room off from the rest of the house keeping it in the low 60’s high 50’s lol.
